When you walk through Muscat, you see white houses, mountain views and wide roads instead of huge skyscrapers. The country protects this style to keep its cultural identity alive.
Sri Lanka may look small on the map, but the island feels like several countries combined. You can go from sunny beaches to cold misty mountains in just a few hours. One side of the island is dry and golden, while another side is green and full of waterfalls.
